Amazing experience. Had Salmon Gravalax and the Steak & Stout pie. Absolutely superb. Some of the best food I've had and incredibly fast service considering it was a busy Saturday match day evening. Friendly attentive wait staff and good atmosphere. Highly recommend. Great guineas too. Thank you to our server, Ben.

Went here for roast potatoes and ended up getting their 3 side plate offer. Me and my partner loved it. We both were super appreciative of the friendly service (especially the girl who brought us the food, who was very smily and nice) and how tasty all the food was. Would definitely recommend.

We visited Nottingham Castle for the afternoon and wanted an early dinner. After seeing reviews on trip advisor we decided to try them out. Service was friendly and made some great recommendations. We tried the herb and goat cheese souffle, steak and ale pie, the fish and chips and the raspberry and white chocolate ice cream. Everything was prepared perfect and servers were attentive. On our way out they even had some great ideas on other places to visit in town. We accidentally left our bag and in an attempt to get it back to us, they rang the locations they had suggested. It was such a relief to get it back. They were fantastic all the way around.

Had a Sunday lunch there today for three people. All of us thought the food was amazing. Two had belly pork Sunday roast and I had lamb shank Sunday roast. Service was faultless- very slick and discretely attentive. Our server Rebecca said she was new but I never would have known as she was very good. All staff seem to have an air of maturity and capability that I haven’t seen for years in a pub environment - all delivered with a really friendly and relaxed feel. It is expensive here but I felt it was worth every penny because we had such a fabulous time - none of us wanted to leave. The place was busy and had a very friendly vibe. We will be straight back there on our next Nottingham visit.

We stopped in for Sunday Roast. Did not disappoint one bit. It was hands down one of the best Sunday Roasts we've had in a long time. Definitely one of the better meals on this 2 week trip to the UK. We both had the slow roasted lamb shank.
